“Lucky to call this place home” is a heartfelt tribute to Australia, painted with a love for the vibrant colours and exaggerated forms of the Australian countryside. The artwork invites the viewer to interpret the landscape, leaving room for imagination and personal connection. Using typically Australian colours, the painting captures the essence of the land, whether it be a field of wheat, a lake teeming with reeds or something entirely different. This piece serves as a love letter to the beauty and diversity of Australia and is my small way of acknowledging First Nations People as the original custodians of this land.
Dimensions: 1m x 800mm framed in Tasmanian oak.
